When machining with internally cooled tools in CNC machines, it is crucial that the spindle lubricate with precision. Different tool types have varying channel diameters – incorrect pressure or off-target aerosol distribution can lead to insufficient lubrication, overheating, or even damage to the tools. Traditional minimum quantity lubrication systems often cannot automatically adapt the pressure, which reduces tool life and makes the process unstable.
