When sawing steel – especially solid material – high temperatures and considerable tool wear occur. Insufficient lubrication leads to micro-welds on the tooth tips, tooth breakage, and excessive wear of the stem blade. Conventional cooling lubricants often do not specifically reach the critical areas on the tooth or steel blade. This leads to poor cutting quality, short service life, and high lubricant consumption.
