Designated task

The aim is to solve the existing problems caused by high friction between the material and the rollers in the long term.
Excessive friction leads to unwanted heat build-up, which disrupts the flow of material and increases the risk of deposits on the rollers.
This significantly shortens the service life of the forming rollers, resulting in a lot less wear, unplanned downtimes, and frequent tool changes.
Leakage when using emulsion is also a problem, as it contaminates the area around the machine and profiles and impacts later operations.

Technical Solution

The UNICUT® MQL system enables precise, controlled lubrication of the forming rollers with minimal lubricant use – without water, over-flooding, or residues. The metering and spraying valves are controlled electrically or pneumatically, matching the control of the profile line. The lubricant is applied out directly on the roll circumference area, in line with the process rhythm.

Special Feature

UNICUT® MQL works with high-purity, specialized lubricants that are perfectly matched to steel forming – silicone-free, residue-free, efficient. The system is ideal for inline processes without post-cleaning, even at high cycles and continuous operation.
